DESCRIPTION:LoveAn evening of pitch side medicine with Dr Ibrahim Malik – an emergency medicine and sports doctor with experience in football\, rugby\, boxing\, Motorsport and more! ⚽🏈🏍️🥊 \nYou will learn about the nuisances of pitch side medicine including how to pick your kit\, different sports different regulations and indemnity considerations. There will be a lecture about prehospital skills and opportunities to physically apply these skills using our SIM manikins. We’ll be practicing safe extrication\, primary assessments and looking at ways we can support players airways and manage MSK injuries. We’ll put everything together for a scenario based circuit to introduce human factors so you can practice your medical team management\, and finally a Q&A at the end! \nThis event is open for all health professionals\, students or graduates\, at any stage of training. We will adapt our training to you!
